Abstract:This document describes the mooring simulations on the Subsurface Telemetry Unit (STU) which were performed for the Underwater Acoustic Network EU-FP7 project. Individual mooring equipment is described and modelized. Simulations were performed based on previous knowledge of marine conditions in the area of operation. Worst case scenarios are presented with a suggestion on the configuration.
