Running the models

The present section introduces some examples that exhibit the models capabilities and accuracy, namely:

• Deep water ray tracing with variable boundaries (a sinusoid surface and a Gaussian sea mountain) for a Munk profile and an idealization of a Munk field;
• shallow water tests showing the WAVFIL and different types of outputs;
• a comparison between Trace and Kraken;
• transmission loss calculation with Traceo showing the sound scattering created by a circular object in the waveguide.
