How to reach SiPLAB

By car from Lisbon or Spain: you will arrive by highway A22 (or IP1) either from west if you come from Lisboa or from east if you arrive from the Spanish border (approximately 60 km away). Take the exit to Faro that indicates also Faro airport. That will be the first exit to Faro coming from Lisboa or the second exit if you come from Spain. Follow the signs straight ahead to Faro. Approximately 1 km from Faro take the direction to Faro airport to the right and then to the UNIVERSIDADE (Campus de Gambelas) again to the right. Follow the signs until you reach the campus.

From Faro airport: take the direction to Faro, after about 1.5 kms, you will see a blue sign UNIVERSIDADE leading you out to an elevated roundabout to the left. Follow the signs until you reach the campus.

From Faro: go to route 125 (sign EN125) direction Portimão; at about 1 km out of town, take the direction to the airport (AEROPORTO) and to UNIVERSIDADE (Campus de Gambelas) to the left and then to the right only UNIVERSIDADE. Follow the signs until you reach the campus.
A taxi from the centre of Faro costs approximately 8 Euro; a bus from Jardim (centre of Faro) costs 1.5 Euro (one way).
