Arrival of EGIM prototype at OBSEA (UPC, Vilanova i la Geltru, October 26, 2016)

The first prototype of the EGIM was shiped from Ifremer (Brest, France) and has arrived at OBSEA for performing the shallow water test. Deployment will occour during next November 2016 at the OBSEA buoy by 20m depth, 4km offshore, cable connected and where it will stay for a period of approximately 3 months. Data will be available to the consortium for testing.

General Assembly meeting
(UPC, Vilanova i la Geltru, October 24-25, 2016)

The EMSODEV General Assembly took place at UPC-OBSEA premises at Vilanova i la Geltru, near Barcelona (Spain), on October 24-25, 2016. Participants went through the progress acquired in the various project workpackages and draw a plan for the upcoming months until and beyond the mid-term review meeting foreseen in April-May 2017.
